Project and Submission Requirements:

All teams must participate in person at the hackathon held at the Charleston Digital Corridor,  Charleston South Carolina. Projects submitted by teams or individuals who did not attend the hackathon in person will not be considered for judging. Teams submit their projects via Devpost by the deadlines (Tuesday June 27th) for the second hack day. The submission will include a written description of the project, a short video presenting the project (under 3 minutes), and a link to your Github repository.

Dates and Times:

Charleston Summer Hacks will be held on 3 separate days in the summer of 2023, Monday, June 12, from 5pm-10pm and Wednesday June 21st from 5pm-10pm for the hack nights. An awards and happy hour event will be held on Wednesday, June 28th at 6pm. Join us for all or just one! 

Eligibility:

The Summer Hacks are open to hackers from all different backgrounds and skill levels, including developers, designers, business professionals, subject matter experts, entrepreneurs, and students with an interest in technology, innovation, social impact and entrepreneurship. We strongly encourage beginners to join and contribute where you can, and facilitators will be at the events to help everyone find a team that's a great fit. Note that this is an In-person hack only and submissions will only be accepted from teams that attended the in-person hackathon in Charleston, South Carolina.

Prizes will be announced at the happy hour award event.
